The Eden Project can be reached from the B&B

by taking an hourly bus service or an hour-walk.

I decided to walk, taking advantage of

the fortunately sunny weather.

Along the country lane that wound up and down the hills,

wild flowers and bushes grew.

There were few cars; only birds singing and wind rustling.

Time seemed to elapse more slowly than usual.

Then down below appeared a couple of greenhouses

that looked like massive footballs combined.

The Eden Project.

It is a garden built in a former china clay pit.

The modern garden of Eden in which

nature, science and art have been brought together.

It is a place where we celebrate and learn about

the gift from plants and think how nature and people can coexist.
